  2. Boiling process. The fun part of baking soda in hard boiled eggs begins in the boiling process. In order to make the eggshell easy to peel, you need to add baking soda into the water. You do not have to stir it to dissolve the baking soda. Once the water is heated up, the baking soda will dissolve on its own. Place eggs inside of the water as it goes warmer. After that, turns the fire up. Wait for about 10 minutes for the egg to harden up.
  3. Cooling down phase. After 10 minutes, you need to turn off the fire. Stir the water and let the temperature cooling down. It may take few minutes for the water along with the eggs in it to cool down. The baking soda is absorbed completely during this process. Once the water is cooled down, you can spoon out the eggs out of its water.
